Bathing, brushing, nail trims, and ear cleaning are typically a necessary part of our pup's routine maintenance. Depending on your preferences and what type of dog you have they could also be spending time with a professional groomer. Decide before you need a groomer who you will use. Interview a few and find someone who is a good fit for your breed and your family. If you will be using a groomer, ask them how to prepare your pup to have a positive first experience. Learn about what the groomer will do and how they work with new pups to help them feel comfortable. Ask how often they will need to be groomed and if they can show you how to do any maintenance between appointments.
